eCash Network and Software Upgrades
The semiannual eCash network upgrade was completed on May 15th.
@Bitcoin_ABC released v0.33.3, a hotfix update addressing a bug affecting all active node versions and v0.33.4, adding a new Chronik endpoint and a checkpoint following the May 15 eCash network upgrade.
eCash Ecosystem Updates
The Cashtab app installs surpassed 1.2k (+50%) and monthly active users exceeded 550 (+65%). It also added biometric authentication support to the mobile app.
Universal eCash Payments (pay.e.cash) are now supported by Cashtab and Marlin wallet.
eCashLive.net launched as a real-time dashboard for monitoring activity on the eCash network.
News and Media Updates
On May 6, the eCash network processed 84K+ transactions in a single day, highlighting the growth in on-chain activity.
The eCash X account wrote an article about how Heartbeat improves the user experience on eCash.

Developer Updates
ecash-wallet lib extended support for `broadcastAndFinalizeTx`, enabling automatic finalization of all built and broadcast transactions
ecash-agora lib added automatic UTXO set updates after supported Agora transactions, aligning behavior with other ecash-wallet methods
eCash Chronik client package for Flutter/Dart was released by @tendo_pein_sama, with plans to evolve into a full SDK supporting wallet management and transaction signing.
